Just to clarify. Peter Tatchell wrote the article, just in case the above sounds like I was suggesting that he was over in Iran persecuting Arabs himself.

I thought Iran was an Arab country?
Erm, nope. Iran is essentially Persian, and has it's own language, Farsi. Course, Iran only became an Islamic country because the Arabs invaded, but Islamic culture these days is pretty much informed by Persian traditions, so I guess they won the war in the long run.
