Brighton Web Awards

I've hauled this post up the top, where it can stay a while, because the shortlist for the Brighton and Hove Web Awards has been announced, and Assistant Blog is represented in the Personal / Blog catagory. And all of a sudden my latent competetive streak (dormant for 27 years) has emerged and I want to win! If you've time to vote for the blog, it would be much appreciated. Go here to vote. Apologies if you're reading this for the millionth time; posts are continuing as normal below...

Indeed. Although I like to think that I combine Amir Khan's spry athleticism with my own peculiar brand of hatred of confrontation and terror of physical violence. It's a potent mix.

Ah, well thank you for your rather grim prognosis, Andrew! Let's hope it doesn't translate over to these here web awards. One punch, eh? :-(

Hope you win!

I hope you win too. As you have the best written blog in town. Even though Radio 4 are clearly terrible and often overated. Well done with the liberal lifting from newspapers recently.
